Turkey Creek Watershed:

Turkey Creek is located in the Southwestern portion of the county. It is the second smallest watershed and accounts for 28 square miles of the county's drainage.

The main channel starts in DeKalb County and enters the county just east of Helmer flowing northwester and exits the county just north of Stroh. Turkey Creek then drains into the St. Joe River, which flows through Elkhart, Indiana, out letting into Lake Michigan. The area contains several lakes of which Big Turkey Lake is the largest.
